Philia is the foundation bitch of Symphony, and we adore her boldness, beauty, and all-around sweet personality. Her pedigree is steeped in sound movement, iconic type, and gorgeous headshapes. She passed these attributes down beautifully to her daughter, Hedwig, and grandchildren. While Philia is retired from the show ring and coursing field, we still admire her in the yard, as she still works hard every day to catch the elusive squirrel. She is out of Lisa Puskas’ stud dog, Hunter, and a Bunny daughter, Pumpkin (both deceased), a tight line breeding on Legacy, who we see in only a few remaining lines of beautiful movers throughout the United States. Philia is the last remaining of my first trio of Ibizans, after we lost her kennel brothers, Kalos and Maestro, in late 2023 and Spring 2024, respectively. She is incredibly loyal to her family, the best puppy raiser even for litters that aren’t her own, and is known for refusing her dinner until we give her at least a bite of our own. We love her for her audacity, and look forward to many more years with our beautiful baby girl.
